Hey ladies,
So I am really sorry that I have not written in a while but I have some good news. I am coming home next week and will be in Kansas until around Christmas! I am soo excited! My mom is flying up here this weekend and then we are driving back. We are doing a fun road trip. I think we decided to make some deturs and stop in Memphis to do the whole Graceland thing and then we are going to stop and visit my aunt and uncle in Oklahoma so we should be pulling in to Topeka either Wednesday or Thursday.
If you havent already got the email from Fox, we are planning a girls slumber party at my parents house on November 7th and then I will also be in Lawrence for Brandon's birthday on the 8th (that is if I can find a babysitter). But I would love to see you all before that if we can.
I am glad to here that everyone's school year is going well, at least for the most part. I look forward to seeing you all!

slacking
okay ladies we are all slacking on this blog! i know i have no room to talk but i do try and at least read everything and lately there has been nothing. i haven't been up to much lately until today. today i just ran my 1/2 marathon my friend and i finished in 2 hours and 33 minutes. it was faster than our goal by 4 minutes but as you all know i am super competitive and so of course i want to try again and go faster. i do have a blister that is as big as a 50 cent piece...gross i know!
it finally rained this weekend... that hasn't happened here since march! the rain is not the same. first of all people here don't know how to drive in it and its never a thunderstorm which i miss a lot! i also miss the smells of fall and the crisp air of fall. it cools off here but its not the same.
there is not a lot new in the romance department but i think i'm okay with that i do have a crush and a stalker but thats about it. oh and don't worry my stalker is not dangerous just annoying! as for work i love my kids this year if i could just work with kiddos that are 3 to 6 i would be in heaven but kids up to 12 are okay as well. i don't know if i have already said this but i just got assigned to my first birth to three kiddo. she is 2 1/2 and adorable. i am super nervous because i've never done this before but it could be fun.
i will definitely be home in november so once again mark it off on the calendar. its kind of crazy that brandon will be 21! i feel so old! oh wait thats because i'll be 26 the same week, yikes!
i want to hear more from all of you!! oh and sara rose are you okay were you in the car that is pictured all smashed up on facebook? hopefully everyone is okay!
love you ladies!!!

Feenished!
Whew-ee. Here it is Saturday night and I guarantee no one is blogging or will be reading this blog tonight. I'm sipping on my Chardonnay- it's pretty delicious. I have spent (and I am not exaggerating THIS time) since about 11am this morning working on my grad classes. I ate lunch and went to church during the course of the 9 hours, otherwise, I was reading and typing. I took a class this summer and it ends October 1. So I put it off and spent the last week trying to get the BS done. And I think I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I can not tell you how excited I will be to graduate in May. What does it feel like to NOT do homework? Foxtrot, I commend you on getting your masters right away. Nice job! I can not WAIT to get that million on my paycheck too! ha!
So enough of the boring stuff. Things have been going well for me. Finally at work I feel like I am able to do my job (or jobs). I have passed the buck onto other people at work to help with our little kindergartner. I am still assisting but I am trying to stay out of it some. She is not special education therefore we have other people that can help. It's the whole "I don't have to be in control" sort of thing. I will gladly let someone else work with her too. She's making some progress but she's still a loose cannon and it's like she's been caged up! Insane!
I just went to Hannah's first birthday at Ryan and Corey's. It was a "bee" theme - they call her Hannah Bee. She is just a doll! She had her first sweet a cupcake and she didn't know what to do with it! I put some frosting on my finger and she looked at me like I was crazy trying to make her eat it! Then she just went to town! I love it! It makes me want to have my own, SOMEDAY :).
Foxtrot, I am so glad you have a good class this year, it's amazing how kids can determine your day or year. I think that's the "joy" of teaching, each and every day is new and exciting along with each year. Yet, sometimes, that year can seem pretty damn long....
So Megan, how many hours does it take to get to Carolina? Do I hear a road trip??? Seriously, that'd be fun. Like over Christmas break or something. Either Spring Break.
Eric and I are doing well. Nothing new to report. He is away in the mountains having "man time" with his dad and uncle. I'm actually able to get a lot of stuff done while he's away, but I already miss him! PATHETIC!
Alright, ladies, I'm going to pass the buck to someone else, WHITEY or AUBREY! :)
Happy rest of the weekend! Love you all!

Oh the Joys of Teaching...
Hello all! Sorry I have been MIA for awhile once again. Megan, I am so happy for you that you found a home! That is very exciting. Hopefully sometime in 2009 I can come to visit. I hope you do get to come to the Topeka area so I can see you soon! Gracie-Poo, I am so sorry to hear about your classroom struggles... it reminds me of some of mine last year. Hang in there girl! But seriously, the kindergartener called you that? Wow. White Stuff, I hope you are having a good year. I will be in Lawrence, along with Aubs, the weekend of November 8 so hopefully I can see you! We will be in town celebrating Brandon's 21st birthday. I seriously cannot believe he is that old. It will be nice to go back to my old stomping grounds since I haven't been in awhile. I'm still trying to convince Nick to come along, but it will be hunting season so we shall see. He's one of those stubborn K-State fans too, so I'm not so sure how excited he is about entering Jayhawk country.
Things are going well for me right now. I love my class this year, so work is much better than last year. Funny how your class can make or break your year! I have the funniest story that happened last week... All of my students were working on their math assignment at their desks. I was monitoring the room to make sure everyone was working. Some of my kids stand at their desks when they work and Austin was one of them who was standing up. Well, all of a sudden, his pants fell down. I started laughing hysterically and could not quit. The moment he realized his pants had fallen down, he said outloud, "my pants fell down!!" and threw his arms up in the air. He then picked up his trousers and came running over to me. The mental picture I have still makes me laugh! He came up to me and said, "Miss Fox, my pants fell down!" And I replied, "I saw that, Austin" while trying my darndest to cover up my laughter. Then he asked if he could go to the bathroom. I am still trying to contain my laughter, though with little success. A few of the other students saw what happened, but then the others who didn't see were trying to figure out what all the commotion was about. I told the class they needed to get back to work and not worry about what happened. Then all of a sudden one of my students said really loud, "they really fell down?" Obviously, the news of the event spread quickly. Austin finally comes back and when he enters the room he yells out, "I got 'em fixed!" And of course, the room erupts with laughter. It's a good thing that Austin is a sort of goof ball and this didn't bother him at all. If it had been a girl who was embarassed, I would have felt bad about laughing. So, it made for a funny story and I finally got my class under control and back to work. I swear, some things only happen in teaching.
I hope everyone is doing great right now! Remember, we should work to live, not live to work! Enjoy your spare time and don't let work get you down. Should I be an inspirational speaker? :) Talk to you all soon!

We found a home!
Hey girls,
So we are finally done with the moving process. I still need to find a job though. We did the 12 hour drive in different cars and I never want to really have to drive that far just me and Kiers in the car. It was tough, we drove through tropical strom Fay to get here and she was really good and slept for the 4 hours we were driving in a down poor but after that she got kinda fussy. Good thing my aunt burned me a CD with Alyson Krauss singing Baby of Mine becuase it was the only thing that could calm her. I tried every other CD I had in the car but some how it did the trick. So, I listened to at least 8 hours of that song on repeat. Then we got here, stayed in an awesome hotel and found a house. It is really nice. It is only 2 years old. It is a 3 bed 2 bath house with a bonus room. It also has a screened in deck and a 2 car garage. I love being in a house and out of an apt. There is not much to do in the town of New Bern but if anyone wants to come visit we are about 30 miles from the beach and we have plenty of room for you to stay, so we would love to have you.
Anyways, that is what is new with us. How is school going for all of you guys? I hope your years will be really good! Aubrey, as soon as I find a job I am going to start looking for a time to come visit you! Foxy, Grace, and White I hope to see you guys a lot in October. I dont know for sure if I am coming but it looks like I am.
I miss you all a ton!

Anyone out there?
Girls.....
What happened to our weekly blogs? I know things have been SUPER hectic, but we must not forget about our friendship!!! :) I should be doing school work right now, but I need a minute of sanity. Things have been INSANE at work. I'm dealing with a little kindergartner that is NOT special education surprisingly who is acting out HORRIBLY. Notice my capital letters. Anyway, needless to say, I got called a "stupid bitch" today, Yea for her using words in the right context. Ha!!
Foxtrot, how is your school year going? Going to have a better class this year? Our school didn't make AYP therefore we are in FULL swing to try to get our kiddos reading, writing, and mathing!! If that's a word.
I can't wait to hear about Megan's new digs once she gets a place....
Nothing else new here. Eric and I are doing well. He's been traveling quite a bit some I'm actually get some work done. Ha! Nah, but it's been different with him being gone quite a bit. I'm having to make up corny games to keep our "passion" alive. :)
Tell me what's new with you all! ASAP!!! :)

The Big Move
Hey girls!
Sorry it has been a while for me too. We were in Topeka for a week. Grace and White it was really nice to see you guys and I will definitly send you those picks cause they are awesome (the lesbian family, just kidding). Grace, Abe and I both really like Eric. He seems really awesome, so way to go!! Foxy, sorry again that we didnt make it to Wichita but I promise if I am home for a couple of months I am definitly heading that way. Aubs, it sucked missing you by a couple of days so hopefully that wont happen again. I know we are trying to go to Minnesota for Thanksgiving so hopefully that is not the trip you are talking about in November.
So, it is 1:00 in the morning and the movers are coming tomorrow (or I guess today). They are packing all of our stuff up and then will come and load it onto the truck on Thursday, Abe will check out at the base on Friday and we will hit the road for our new home in North Carolina. Well, we will hit the road for a hotel room in NC. We are waiting tell we get there to find a house to rent. Its kinda scarry not knowing where we will live but hey life is an adventure. I am also really happing because it looks like Fay is going to stay east of us. This last weekend they were saying it was going to hit Pensacola on thursday so we are very releaved that things have changed.
Anyways, it may be a while before I blog again. The movers are taking our computer and we dont know when we will actually get our stuff (we have to have a home first).
To all of you starting school, well I guess that is all of you, good luck. I know your school years will be great!!!
Oh yeah, Foxy I wanted to tell you on the phone but we keep missing each other. Thank you sooooo much for the shirts. They are the cutest things ever. Abe was really excited that she can now represent his beliefs!
Love you all!

being lazy
Hey ladies! I have not participated in the blog in a while because I've been busy and not busy at the same time. I know that doesn't make sense but I'll try to explain. Last week the two younger boys were with me out in Cali and we packed our days with tons of stuff to do like going into the city, going on hikes and going to the freezing ocean. So in that sense I was busy. However I find I have nothing exciting to update you all on. I start school next Tuesday and I have not thought about it much at all. I figure I'll deal with it when I it comes. I am in Kansas for the week and I am looking forward to seeing those of you I haven't seen yet. Foxy I had a great time with you on Saturday (although I did drink way to much alcohol)! Megan I am still annoyed that I missed you by just a few days. Rumor has it you may be spending some serious time here in Topeka and if so I think that time may over lap with another trip back I have planned for November. So hopefully it makes more sense now why I've been busy but not busy at the same time. You ladies enjoy your day!
And now I am slightly annoyed that I cannot change the font anymore I really like the other one!

So it begins..
Howdy, girlfriends! I am forcing myself to finally post on our cool blog even though it is 10pm and I should be in bed. Or least getting in bed. I started school today! I can NOT believe I am back at school! It feels great to be back, I definitely get more confident each year and for some reason feel that I need to be in charge of several committees! Some one stop me! I just love being involved and knowing what's going on in our school. I have told myself "No more" because I already feel the stress coming.... Anyway, we moved classrooms this year which is so exciting (No more tiny room) and we actually get to have real desks this year!!! It's the little things in like you know? So I am frantically trying to help get our room together. I have realized that I tend to attract students with MR- which I'm okay with, they just pretty much make up a majority of my caseload. Oh well, I must have the special touch... :)
Megan, it was so good to see you last week!! The babe is growing up so fast! Aubrey, let me know what works you to get together next week, I even thought we could make a quick run to Lawrence and meet up with Whitey for din-din or something. FOXTROT, I miss your sweet ass this past weekend. I went to Halstead and PARTIED IT UP!! Ha. Not totally since it's like population 5 people. But that's where Eric's from so I got to meet a lot of family and see where he came from. At least when I met grandma she didn't seem shocked to meet me; she even said "I've heard good things about you" which who the hell knows what that means- don't ALL grandmas say that? No, it really meant a lot of me to meet his family. I think it means he's my boyfriend now! ha!
Alright, as I am typing I think the words are getting blurry so I must sign off now! I'll pray there's no rain for you two crazy ones in Wichita and congrats on the one year, Fox! Let's hope for many more!

MIA report
I apologize for my disappearing act. I have been MIA because school starts tomorrow... YIKES! I promise I have not been ignoring phone calls or blogging, I've just been super busy! Since I had such a shitty year last year, I think I'm trying to overcompensate and be overly prepared for the beginning of this school year. It WILL be better than last year, I just know it! I'll write a longer blog later. Good luck to all of those starting a new school year! Remember... back to school... I hope I don't get in a fight! Good old Bill. Megan, I'm excited that you guys know where you are going to settle! Sorry I missed you in T-Town! Gracie-Poo, sorry I missed you in Wichita! How was your weekend? We got rained on so the softball tournament kind of sucked. Aubs, I can't wait to see you this weekend! My invite for anyone to join us at the lake this weekend still stands. It better not freakin' rain! Nicholas and I just celebrated our one year. Woo Hoo!! Love you all and talk to you again soon!

Back to School
Well, tomorrow I have to go back to work!!! I can't believe that summer is over! It seems like every year it goes by faster and faster. I'm ready to head back to school though! How much longer do you have Foxy? Aubs? I am so glad I finally got to meet Kiersten!!! When Megan and Abe were in town they met up with Gracie, Eric, and I and had dinner! It was so much fun!!! I miss you Megan!!!!!! And Kiersten is so freakin' adorable! You'll have to send Sara and I those pictures!

Just starting back at work soon, then the next week I start my classes and so does Chase. Still trying to lose weight so everyday is a struggle!!!! I'll make it though, come hell or high water! Holy Shit a lot has happened!
So, I am really sorry that this is coming last minute and I am writing it really fast so it will be poorly written and probably short. First thing is first, we found out yesterday afternoon that we are able to come home today so it is 7:00 am and we are getting ready to leave soon. We will be home till I think the 10th. We are getting Kiersten Baptised at Christ the King on Sunday after the 11 mass and then have a little cake thing at Leanne's if any of you would like to come we would love to see you just let me know so that we know how much food to have.
Ok, for those of you we have not told yet, the flight school thing really didnt work out, I will explain in more detail when we see you all or when I have more time. So, he found out on Wed that he is going to be a Public Affairs Officer and we are moving in August to North Carolina. The base is Cherry Point and it is near a town called New Bern. Abe, is really excited for the job it is exactly what he wanted. The location wasnt our first choice but we are getting really excited.
Ok, I know this was a quick one but I wanted to fill you all in.
Love you all and hope to see you this week.

I suppose its my turn...
Hey ladies!! I've been putting off writing on this blog again for two reasons. First, I don't like being made fun of for my writing/spelling skills ;) Secondly, I have not had a lot of interesting things going on.
Sara Rose I am so proud of you. There is no way I could ever control my eating I have given up trying and have decided to try to find healthier things I like to eat. Have started training for a half marathon and in doing so I thought I might lose a few pounds...not happening. However today I did pull a Megan and got bit by a dog while I was running I had blood running down my leg and everything!
For those of you I haven't told I am moving tomorrow in with some friends. Its just down the block and I actually know people now who are willing to help me for the small price of beer and pizza. I too am preparing for school to start but I think I'm ready for the routine to start again. Lucky for me I don't start until the 26th so I have a bit of time.
Oh the only fun thing I have done is go rafting on level 3 rapids (the highest it goes is 5 on the rapid scale) it was awesome!!! I did fall out of the boat one time preceded to get stuck under it for a bit but I survived with a softball sized bruise on my ass!!! You all would have been impressed.
As I am writing I realize that I am the only single girl on this blog and for once I think I'm ready to change that. Recently I have been feeling like I could get involved in a relationship and make it work. This may be the first time I've ever said that but I figure if I put it out there it may happen. Now don't worry I'm not a lonely, desperate mess, and I'm not specifically looking for "the one", I'm just ready to try another aspect of adulthood.
Well for someone who doesn't have a lot going on I do know how to ramble! I love you ladies! Take care!

Yep, summer's almost over...
Hello ladies! First of all, Whitey you are my hero! I don't think I am "strong enough" to do one of those detox diet things! I like to eat too much. I sure gained 20 pounds since I moved to Wichita and the weight is definitely difficult to lose!
Grace, once someone falls in love with you there is no turning back! I fell in love about 17 years ago and there is no going back! You're stuck with me now. :)
Megan, I have to say that I am really sad that I probably won't be able to see you when you come into Topeka this next week. Do Abe and you have to come the week before school starts every year?? :) Kim Herrman is getting married this weekend in Wichita and then I will need to work in my classroom next week before I have to report on the 8th. Then the following weekend we are playing in a softball tournament in El Dorado. If we can work it out, I could maybe meet you for dinner in Emporia on Monday or Tuesday night? Talk to your hubby and let me know if something works. Did you ever receive the gifts I sent for Kiersten? If so, I hope you liked it!! Give her a kiss for me at her baptism.
Aubs, we talked for like an hour on the phone tonight, so I think we're pretty much caught up. :)
To my fellow friends who work within school districts, here we go again! Just remember the more experience we get throughout the years the, (hopefully), less stressful it will be in the future! It always going to be hard to go back though. Good luck!
As for what's new in my life, I'm just dreading school starting again. I'm a bit stressed out and will be very anxious until school starts again and I get settled into a routine. Nick and I tried to win the lottery tonight, but did not even get one freaking number! As he put it, I'm still a teacher and he still has to go to fucking work! Wouldn't it be easier if money grew on trees? I miss you girls like crazy and wish there was a time we could all get together. I fucking love you all too!

Caught up
Hello all! So sounds like the Fruit Flush was productive in the "losing pounds" department but not in the "making life happier" part. Well, I'm proud of you, Whitey, for following through the whole 3 days, thank God it wasn't a few weeks. That's a lot of fruit.
The wedding I was in was a good time! The open bar got the best of me and I got a little out of control, but what's new right? ha! No, it was super nice and everyone had a good time. Eric and I finally told each other "I love you" - probably had something to do with the booze but it was the real deal. It really meant a lot to hear so now we are saying it- but not alot like those annoying couples. :)
I have exactly one week until I have to officially report back to school. I went in for enrollment yesterday (where the kiddos come in with there parents and fill out the paperwork to get to school). I'm getting a little nervous about my caseload this year. I'm excited though too. That's the good thing about working in a school, you get a new crop of kiddos each year (some of mine I keep, but I get new ones too). It keeps it interesting every year. I had one of my paras crap out on me, so we are in the process of finding a new one that will AT LEAST show up to work when they are supposed to. I tell you what, I did not sign up to be in charge of people- it's hard as hell. I feel though that I am starting to get more of back bone each year I'm working. This isn't "Softy Sara" anymore. :)
Other than that, I am heading to Worlds of Fun this weekend with the family. It'll be the kids first trip there so it should be fun. I hear it's supposed to be 100 degrees so I'm sure I'll be looking for the water rides.
What's new with the rest of you? I think Whitey and I are competing on how blogs more.... it's ON!!! :) "I fucking love you guys!"

Fruit Flush=Death!
I wish I would be able to report happy things about the fruit flush I participated in... however I compare it to hell on earth! I did lose 6 pounds, but I was uncomfortable and hungry and angry for three days!!! The first day was awful!!! All you could eat (drink) were these protein shake things, that literally tasted like flour mixed with water! I gagged like 9 times just trying to choke them down! The second two days were a little better, but not much! You think eating fruit all day wouldn't be that bad... oh it was!!!! Anyhoo, enough about that! Just remember fruit flush= death!!! The good news is that I am really on a roll with my working out and eating healthier! I am going to lose my scary weight girls... if it kills me!!!! Which it might!!! Oh, and Megan, you're comment to me was just about the sweetest thing!!! It seriously made me cry... thanks, you're awesome!
I hope everyone is doing well. For all of us school working gals, it's about that time again (maybe not quite for Aubs) for school to start up! I'm ready!!! I need my routine. I'm also going to be taking two classes, one on Monday night and the other on Tuesday! I'll be a busy little bee!!!
I talked to Grace briefly and it sounded like the wedding went well. She's always so busy, I always feel like I'm bugging her when I call or text... I didn't get too many details! Maybe she'll post soon. I hope you are all well! I miss you all a ton! I fucking love you guys!!!!!! There, had to throw in a fuck!

F this!
Hey all! I just had to title it "F this" because Whitestuff wasn't sure if we can cuss in this blog. Hell, it our blog, we can cuss the living shit out of it! And believe me, I use my fair share of the F word as well. Come on, we work with special kids, you've got relieve the insanity somehow! :) Anyway, Megan, I just loved the story about Kiersten first swimming... in the bathtub! I just envision you and Abe in your swimsuits and little girl in there too! That's just SOOO sweet. Please keep telling stories like that - it makes me look forward to a family... some day! :)
I am desperately trying to finish up my grad classes for the summer. I will be done next May and believe me, I am going to have a HUGE party, because this one class I am in now is freakin INSANE!!! I want to hunt down this professor and do really bad things to him, and I don't mean naughty things!! ha! Anyway, I will have a life back by next Wednesday for approximately a few weeks before school starts up. I am looking forward to a fresh new school year, however, I could have a few more weeks of sitting by the pool!
Ava's birthday is this week. She's going to be 3!! I can't believe it, how fast they grow up! It's insane! She's having a "Book Party" but I don't think we have to bring books. I got her one anyhow. It's just going to be at Ryan and Corey's. If you didn't know, they moved to Eudora and have a gorgeous home. My brother started working for my dad just about a month ago so they made a change. Also they are really interested in a Montessori school for Noah that's in Eudora. My mom actually teaches Montessori so Noah is familiar with it. The school goes from pre K - 8th grade and then he'll go to Eudora High I think. I'm excited for them, but being a teacher at a public school, I worry a bit about the social aspects of Noah going to a very small school. I believe there are only about 12 kids total!! In all grades! The kids work at their own pace which will be very beneficial. I'm sure he'll be fine. It's just different and maybe not what I would want to do, but it'll be fine.
I'm finally going to be a bridesmaid this weekend! I've only been one once and then I was guestbook attendant for three weddings after that (thanks for Whitey's family)! So I'm pretty excited! I should be a good time. I'm excited to slow dance with Eric. Is that really lame? Oh well, maybe it'll be romantic! :) Alright, I better shoe off! I tried to do something on here where it should send us emails if people post so we'll see if it works! I figured that'd be nice instead of having to check it every day!
Love you all!!

No More Fat!
Can I just say first off, I love hearing Megan talk about mom stuff!!! It makes me, and all of us, seem so grown up! I freakin' love it!!! Glad everyone is doing well in Florida! I hope you find out where you will be moving soon. That would drive me absolutley batty! I sooooo hope you guys come down in August! Of course I want to see you, but I was to see little Kiersten so bad!!!! Exciting news about Abe possibly joining the campaign trail!!!! Don't tell him I'm voting for Obama...shh!!! I'm sorry, I work in the child care/education field... I would be a hypocrite not too... Anyway enough about Obama...
Ok, girls, so they say that when you are truly happy and comfortable in life, you gain weight. Well, I must be fuckin'... can you say fuckin' in the blogging world? I bet you can! I say fuckin' a lot in the Sara world so, sorry! Well, I must be fuckin' happy because since I have been with Chase over these past four years I have gained 65 pounds!!!! Yes, I said 65 pounds!!!! It's insane. I must be the happiest bitch in Lawrence. Seriously, I'm a fat ass! So, I've decided to take control of my weight and no longer be a fat ass, or at least no longer as fat of an ass! I'm starting first with a fruit flush. It takes three days and I start tomorrow (Monday!) The first day you have to drink these protein shakes and shit and then you have the next two days to eat fruit every two hours. My friend, Darcy, has done this before and I've read all the information so it seems legit! I'm kind of excited about it. Allegedly you can lose up to 10 pounds doing it... I'm not so much concerned about that right now, but rather just cleaning out my system and starting to eat healthier! I'm going to incorporate better eating habits and healthier foods into my life if it kills me!!! Wouldn't that be ironic! And I'm going to step up my workouts!!! I am eventually going to be one sexy bitch!!! Or at least a few pounds lighter... I wish we all lived in Lawrence (or wherever) so we could excersise together! We could start a workout group!!! It always helps to work out with someone! Anyhoo... just wanted to keep you updated!
And yes, I HAVE been living in Lawrence too long, when I start to adopt crazy fruit flush philosophies about losing weight and feeling healthier!! Next stop, smoking pot!!!!

Hey!!
Hey all of you beautiful ladies!
So this thing is really cool. I really like to hear about you all and what is going on with you guys. Sometimes it feels as if I am on an entirely different planet and not just in another state. Grace, even though we've already talked about it I am still really excited for you and Eric. I better get to meet him the next time I am in town. Foxy, so when are you going to get married? Oh wait even better, when are you going to start having babies? Ha, Ha just kidding. It sounds like everything is going really well for you in Wichita. Aubs, I am sorry that your set up didnt go as well as your friends had planned. When I get to the west coast (hopefully) instead of setting you up with all of our single guy friends we will just all go out and party and if you like them then you can make the move (no pressure). White, I think it has been soooo long since I have talked to or seen you. I miss you so much and Kiersten will not be 5 when you meet her.
Anyways, so what is new with us, well not much. We still have no clue where we are moving to or when. We are hoping to find out in the next month or so, but then again I have been saying this for like 6 months now. We are still hoping for the west coast though. Abe, is doing well. He is just being good old Abe. I think he is going to try and volunteer for John McCain's campaign down here so I guess that will be fun (for him at least). Kiersten is doing as good as ever. Oh, and Grace she has a tiny head not a big one but we still know that she is going to be really smart. What am I talking about she already is really smart! She is really trying to move which is fun to watch. She gets up on both of her knees but can't get her chest off the ground so she ends up back in the same spot she started at. But she keeps trying and she is reaching for things so we know she is trying to move. She got to start eating rice cereal this month which is also fun to do. She gets so excited! She also went swimming for the first time. Well, in the bath tub. We wanted to see how she would react first so we filled the tub up pretty high and all three of us got in with our swim suits on. Oh, god I really am a mom now arent I. Man thats scary.
Oh, the really exciting news is that we may be coming home in August. It will probably be from the 1st or 2nd to the 10th. I am really excited but then I read Aubrey's blog and Im bummed that we will be missing each other by like a week. That sucks!!! But as for the rest of you I will let you know as soon as we find out and we should all try to get together. Foxy, we will really try to get down to Wichita because I really want to see where you live and get to know Nick a little better. Grace, well there are no excuses there, you live in Topeka so we WILL be seeing you and I really want to meet Eric. White, we should hopefully get to Lawrence at least once and if we do I will give you a call.
Well I think I have made this long enough. I love you all and miss you a ton!

The Wait is Over...
Yes ladies, you can now rest easy... I have finally figured out the ol' blog! Seriously, I commend all of you for figuring it out because I am super brain dead!!! Anyhoo, I'm so excited to have contact with y'all! It feels like we haven't talked or seen in each other in ages (except for you Gracie) and I miss you guys!
Let's see... this summer I have been working as a para with a teacher friend of mine in summer school. She roped me into helping her. It's actually been pretty fun though. We get to work at West, which is the junior high I work at during the year, and we have a great group of kids! Chase has been busy with working at Party America, yes still, and taking summer classes. He will graduate in May with his Business/Accounting degree!!!! Yay for Chase!!! I laughed when Foxy said she was sick of people asking when she and Nick would be tying the knot!!! Please, Chase and I have been together about 4 years now! We've been getting asked that for years!!! I know how you feel Foxy!!! I want it to be a surprise proposal, but we have talked marriage. I look for it to happen within the next few years!! Oh, Lord I can't believe I said that!!!
Things are great with us, we are still living in sin together in Lawrence. We hope to buy a house soon, within the next year! We still have our baby Penny! She is running around, barking, chewing on stuff... just being a dog!! We love her, she is very sweet! Other than that, I'm eagerly anticipating the school year starting! I like the beginning of school, I always did!!!! I hope all is well with you girls! Glad to hear Megan and Kiersten are well! She is going to be like 10 before I see her!!!! How is Abe?? Aubrey I can't believe you are running a half marathon! You're awesome!!!!! Foxy, don't stress about the school year starting, I'm sure it will be better than last year. And Gracie... Eric is such a geek... are you sure about him? Teasing!!!

Hello again!
I knew it was Eric! What a dork! Does that mean we can't talk about him on here... damn it! Just kidding buddy! Grace, I am so very happy for you. You deserve a great guy and it is so true about God working in mysterious ways. Relationships are all about timing and being in the same places in each others lives... truly. Hopefully you are both ready for each other now!
Aubrey, I have decided that you need to come back to my third grade class so we can work on spelling and how to construct a sentence... just kidding baby! You know I just like giving you shit. I could have NEVER made it through a day at KU Med and you know that!! :) Yes, it is true that Aubrey is coming to visit me in Wichita on Saturday, August 16. Anybody else who would like to venture down this way on that day is more than welcome! We will be going to the lake sometime late morning and then out to Club Rodeo that night... that is if Aubs can help me pace my drinking and I don't pass out!
Megan, I sent Kiersten a little something. I couldn't resist when I saw them. Hope she likes her surprise! Make sure that husband of yours is behaving himself!
That is all for now. I love this! But not as much as I love all of you... Grace I beat you in the corny department there! :)

Sorry I'm Late!!
Hello ladies! Sorry I am late but I did not get the memo until Grace was angry with me! Well she was not really mad more like thinking I'm an idiot. I do think its a great idea but I have to admint I'm a little nervous to talk about myself....it kind of feel concited. I've never really done one of these before so sorry in advance.
Summer here has been a learning experience the skies are pretty much permanently hazy due to hundreds of fires. Basically when I'm outside for say and hour or two its like smoking a pack of cigaretts...yuck! I have recently decided to run in a half marathon in October so unfortunately I am forced to at least run outside every other day so I can't avoid the somke. I have been working at summer school but since I'm the newbie I got the caseload where I have to go to 5 schools in the week where as the others get to stay at one school. I suppose next year will be better.
In the romance department I have a whole lot of nothing going on. However my friends out here have decided I need to be fixed up. My friend Sid (who I met first out here) introduced me to her friend from new york who is really funny and nice(and really tall....I'm talking 6'7") but I'm just not feeling it and of course I have no idea what to say...any suggestions? Also Crissy, who I am doing the half marathon with wants to introduce me to a pilot but I'm not sure he is my type either. To sum it up I think I'm way to picky and I have no idea how to tell my friends to stop setting me up. As for you Grace its great to hear about you and Eric!
I guess the only other thing to tell now is that I will be home from August 15th to the 23rd. Foxy I will be seeing you that Saturday on the boat! And the majority of the rest of my time will be spent in Topeka so hopefully I will be able to catch up with everyone. Megan if you come home when will it be? And I am still waiting to hear when you are moving so I can plan a trip to visit!
Hopefully my first blog passes the test!

Follow-up
Hey all!
I'm so glad you guys like this idea! I am eagerly awaiting our two other amigas (Aubrey and Sara). I think there was some technical difficulties but hopefully they will be posting soon too! Megan, so glad to hear about Kiersten's check-up. That's alright that she has a big head. That just means she's going to be that much smarter! :) I think there might be a way to post some pictures on here, that'd be cool if we could put pictures of our families, kids, etc. if you wanted. I'll do some research. Blogging is so much fun!
Foxtrot, so good to here about you and Nick. I'm sure people are wondering when the big day is happening, but like we talked about, we've got our whole lives to be married, enjoy it for now! I saw that you got to meet Rascal Flatts- I love them! But I understand you couldn't make babies with them because of Nick. :)
As for me, I feel like this summer has FLOWN by. I am super stressed with this ridiculous grad school class- thankfully it sends at the end of July. I think I just maxed myself out with summer school teaching and three grad classes. I will be done next May though and you better believe there's going to be a hell of a party! :)
I babysat for Ryan and Corey's kids last week for a few days. All by myself. Man, being a mom is hard work! Go Megan! The kids are so much fun but I was exhausted! Noah will be 5 here in September, Ava will be 3 at the end of July, and little Hannah is 10 months! I had so much fun though! I want to be a mom, but I think I will wait a little bit longer for that one! :)
Foxtrot, I know I have not called you, so I will tell you over blog about my love life! :) Eric finally let his wonderful little heart open up and told me he has the "love" feelings for me. Needless to say, I was shocked since we had been broken up since last November and he was adament about not having those strong feelings for me. Anyway, we are basically back together (without the title, yet, trying to give him something to wait for :) . It's been really great. He is such a great guy and has a lot going for him, always has. I have always had the love feelings for him, so it just took him a little bit longer. :) He is being all sweet and romantic which is a bit strange for me (a good strange though). I feel that is a really exciting adventure that we are on and do feel that is right. God does work in mysterious ways (or so says Nancy White!) I feel as though that part of my life was lacking and now it feels generally wholesome. So cheesy huh? Anyway, Cool Breeze is Eric and he was trying to be cool. Just ignore it! haha.
Alright, ladies, keep me posted on your lives. This is so exciting!!!
Teacher friends, I can not BELIEVE that I have to go back to school in like 3 weeks! It makes me sick to my stomach!!

Grace, you are a genius!!!
I'm right here! Hello ladies!! Super idea, Grace! Megan, I am so glad to hear that Kiersten is doing so well! I love all of the new pictures you post on MySpace so I can keep up with her as she grows. It's nice to have Kaleb so I can kind of compare how quickly Kiersten is growing too... since they were born on the same day! Grace, I think you still owe me one of your nieces though! Just kidding!! By the way, who is cool breeze? Can we dish about boys on here too or should we keep such gossip confidential? I'm gonna ask it anyway... Grace, what's the new scoop with the boy toy? I never got my phone call!
So today is July 12 and I am torn. A part of me is dreading going back to school but a part of me is excited and ready to go back. Word on the street is that we are getting a good group of students this year, so that will be a relief. I am starting to get lazy and feeling like a slacker so I'm ready to contribute to society again!
I have kept somewhat busy this summer so far. I went to Country Stampede in June, though it wasn't the same without the original crew and the amount of alcohol I used to consume! I just can't drink like I used to! So far in July I've just been hanging out in Wichita. I'll be coming home to the Topeka area on July 17, but am not sure I will have time to get together with my homegirls. It's going to be family time because we are selling my grandma's house in Maple Hill. We are auctioning all of her stuff on July 19, so that will be pretty tough. Right now she's in assisted living at Atria and that is where she needs to be now. I feel better knowing she is being looked after and kept safe. Then in August I will of course be getting my classroom ready for the beginning of school. The first day of school is August 13.
Nick is in the Ozarks this weekend for a bachelor party and I got many drunken text messages last night! Things are really good right now! We are both kind of getting tired of people asking us when we are going to get married though. We have been dating 11 months now and know we are on that route, but are just not ready for the next step yet. We are enjoying dating and where we are at right now. You know my philosophy... no need to rush!
Wow guys! I didn't know I had it in me to write so much! If you have made it through my entire entry, I congratulate you and thanks for reading! :) I hope all is well with everyone! Let's keep this up!! Love you all!

Bogus~
Hey girlies,
So I have been thinking about how it would be nice to be able to keep in touch more often and with the hectic lives of everyone! Why not BLOG? I have no idea how this thing works but I am learning as I go. Let's see if it takes off! I think it'd be really neat if we all just blogged on here at least once a week to keep each other up-to-date on our lives. I named it "Global Gifrlfriends" because even though we are all on the same side of the globe we are spread out. We can write anything we want on here- school, work, husbands/boyfriends/hook-ups (ha!), kids, etc. I think this could be really neat! What do you all say?! :)
